You can reset your password here. A temporary secure password will be sent to your registered email address. 

If you've forgotten your user ID, contact your Security Manager. They can assist with verifying your login credentials and help you retrieve your username. 

If you've forgotten the answer to your security question, contact your Security Manager. They can assist with verifying your identity and helping you regain access to CitiDirect.

If your CitiDirect account is locked due to failed login attempts or other security reasons, contact your Security Manager. They can assist with unlocking your account and helping you regain access to CitiDirect. 

To activate your CitiDirect mobile app token for the first time:

  1. Download the CitiDirect mobile app.
  2. Open your activation email and follow the activation instructions.

During the activation process, you must enter a one-time verification code sent by SMS or voice call.

To reactivate your mobile token if you changed your device:

Option 1: Activate with a new activation email

  1. Open the CitiDirect mobile app and select the Mobile login option.
  2. Log in with your biometrics or passcode.
  3. Tap the hamburger menu and tap Settings.
  4. Under Switch to a New Phone, select Tap for a new activation email to request a new activation email.
  5. Tap Proceed to send activation instructions to your registered email. 

Option 2: Activate with an existing activation email

  1. Open the CitiDirect mobile app and select Use other token.
  2. Enter your user ID and tap Continue.
  3. Tap Start Now and follow the setup instructions to either scan your QR code or enter the activation code from your email. If you can't find your activation email, tap Resend to request a new one.

Your Security Manager is a designated administrator within your organization who manages CitiDirect access and user permissions. If you don't know who your Security Manager is, reach out to a colleague in your organization and see if they know who it is. If you're unable to log in to CitiDirect, ask a colleague that has access to follow the below steps: 

Within CitiDirect, you can identify who your Security Manager is by completing the following: 

  1. Log in to CitiDirect, select your user icon, and click Settings.
  2. In the My Settings pop-up window, select More Settings.
  3. Select the search icon next to Find My Security Manager to view the list of Security Managers in your organization.

If you're still unable to identify your Security Manager or your organization doesn't have one assigned, contact your normal Citi Service contacts for assistance. 

Try the following steps: 

  • Clear your browser cache and fully close all browser windows, then reopen and try again
  • Double-check that your user ID and password are correct, with no extra spaces
  • Make sure Caps Lock is off
  • If you're using a security token, wait for the code to refresh before entering it
  • Try logging in with a different supported browser
  • If you're working remotely, confirm you have a stable internet connection

To update your account information (e.g., username, email, phone number), contact your Security Manager for assistance. 

You can use CitiDirect on your mobile device by downloading the CitiDirect app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and logging in with your existing credentials. The CitiDirect app is currently available for both mobile and tablet devices in select regions.

With the app, you can:

  • Authorize and release payments
  • Receive real-time push notifications
  • View balances, intraday cash positions, and payment statuses
  • Log in with biometric authentication (in select regions)
  • Manage user access, including account deactivation and resets 

Note: You must be entitled for mobile access by your organization and complete the activation process before using the app.
